Regional City Updates

A group of Santa Ana park residents showed up at a recent council meeting telling the council that the owner of the park is evicting them, not allowing them to sell their homes and on and on. It turns out that the park tenants were less than truthful about what has been going on. The park owner has provided accurate information to the city. Rancho Cucamonga has extended its Accord with the park owners for another ten years. The park residents testimony was supportive of how well the Accord has worked for the past few decades. The Corona city council has approved a Second Amendment to the RSG, Inc. Mobilehome Rent Stabilization Ordinance  Professional Services Agreement, bringing RSG’s total maximum compensation from $269,265 to $282,765. The only winners in rent control are the consultants the cities hire to administer it. Of course, this is after being paid $500,000 to draft the ordinance!
